Celine Dion’s sister, Claudette says singer has lost control of her muscles

Claudette Dion, elder sister of famous Canadian singer Celine Dion has revealed that the ‘It’s All Coming Back To Me’ crooner has lost control of her muscles amid her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

In December 2022, the 55-year-old singer disclosed that she was diagnosed with SPS, an incurable disease that causes muscles to tense uncontrollably.

Also, in August 2023, during an interview with Le Journal de Montreal, the songstress’ sister, Claudette, said Celine is yet to find any medicine that works to help combat the disease.

However, giving an update on the singer’s health on Monday, December 18, the 75-year-old told 7 Jours, per Daily Mail, that her sister had lost control of her muscles.

She said: “She’s working hard, but she no longer has control over her muscles. What breaks my heart is that she’s always been disciplined.

“Some people have lost hope because it’s all illness that isn’t well known.”
