CBN to launch redesigned website Monday

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said it will unveil its newly redesigned website on Monday, December 2, 2024.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the Acting Director of Corporate Communications, Hakama Ali, the CBN highlighted that the revamped website incorporates innovative features designed to enhance user experience and broaden access to its online resources.

According to the statement, the updated platform will provide comprehensive information about the bank’s mandate and operations, with improved accessibility and user-friendly navigation. The website is also optimised for mobile responsiveness, ensuring seamless use across multiple devices and browsers.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website (www.cbn.gov.ng), which will be operational on Monday, December 2, 2024,” the statement read.

“The redesigned website introduces a variety of new content, which encompasses a broader spectrum of information regarding the bank’s mandate. Additionally, the website is responsive to mobile devices, facilitating navigation across various web browsers and devices.”

The bank acknowledged public feedback as a significant contributor to the redesign process and expressed gratitude for the input received.

“The bank is grateful for the feedback provided by the public, which served as a valuable guide for our redesign endeavours,” the statement added.

The CBN reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving the website as a critical tool for engaging with the public and communicating its policies and initiatives effectively.
