Casemiro’s wife, Anna Mariana, has replied to fans criticising her husband’s display during Man United’s recent 3-0 loss to Liverpool.
The Brazil international was taken off by Red Devils’ manager, Erik ten Hag, during the half time of the encounter on Sunday.
Casemiro was directly at fault for the first two goals United conceded in the first half.
He also made a couple of errors that did not directly lead to goal, but led to his replacement with academy graduate, Toby Collyer at the beginning of the second half.

Before he was hooked off, however, angry supporters turned on Casemiro, with jeers ringing out around Old Trafford.
The criticisms continued on social media, with many netizens suggesting he has reached the end of his career.
Reacting to the criticisms, Anna Mariana posted the Manchester United midfielder’s stunning trophy collection.
She also pointed out that his CV includes three LaLiga titles, five Champions League crowns and a few Club World Cup triumphs.
She further noted that he helped Man United to lift Carabao and FA Cups.
