Carlo Ancelotti earns Madrid 35th La Liga title, breaks record

Carlos Ancelotti in addition to the latest trophy has also won titles in Italy’s Serie A, France’s Ligue 1, the Premier League in England, and the German Bundesliga.

Real Madrid put four past Espanyol at Estadio de Santiago Bernabeu to win La Liga with four more games to spare    

Carlo Ancelotti secured the title and became the first manager to win the league in all five of Europe’s major leagues as Real Madrid beat Espanyol to become Spanish champions.

Madrid scored their first goal in the 33rd minute after Marcelo provided an assist for Rodrygo who made it 1-0 for the home side.  

Le Blancos doubled their advantage two minutes to the end of the first half when Rodrygo scored his brace.

It went from bad to worse for the visitors in the 55th minute when a pass from Eduardo Carnavinga was converted by Marco Asensio to make it 3-0 to Madrid. 

Karim Benzema confirmed Real’s 35th La Liga title with the fourth goal in the 81st minute when he scored from an assist from Vinicius Junior.
