Can Fr. Mbaka save Rangers?

To be saved from relegation waters this season, Rangers International FC of Enugu is counting on a Catholic priest famous for his healing powers and miracles, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka.

‘The Flying Antelopes’ team is just a point out of the drop zone with 31 points from 25 matches.

And now, every Wednesday, embattled coach, John Obuh, leads Rangers players to attend Mass at Mbaka’s church.

Nigeria’s star striker, Emmanuel Emenike, has credited the Catholic cleric’s intercession for his good performance last season. Emenike finished as top scorer at the 2013 Nations Cup and won the Turkish league title with Fenerbache.

Nigeria World Cup striker, Michael Uchebo, also worships at Mbaka’s church, while it is understood that Coach Stephen Keshi visited the man of God before he went on to guide Nigeria to win a third Nations Cup crown last year.

Obuh, for one, is known for his belief in another man of God, Temitope B. Joshua of The Synagogue, Church of all Nations.
