Super Eagles defender, Calvin Bassey has said London club, Fulham won their Premier League match against Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Saturday because they desired the win more.
He made this known while speaking with Tribal Football recently, saying the Red Devils have a lot of quality players and are very difficult to beat.
The Whites claimed a historic 2-1 victory against Erik ten Hag’s side, winning away to Man United for the first time in 21 years.

His international teammate, Alex Iwobi netted the winning goal deep into stoppage time.
Narrating why they won the encounter against all odds, Calvin Bassey said: “I don’t think you can just come here and overrun them. You can see the quality of the players they have.”
He added: “They have got top players and a top manager and players that can have an effect off the bench.
“But we were just at it more and I felt we wanted it more. That showed in the way we played.”
