Human Rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has revealed that a petition written by Burna Boy against Speed Darlington was the reason for his arrest.
Speed Darlington was reportedly declared missing by his friends who said he had not been seen for three days.
His associates later shared a video when plainclothes policemen arrested him.
Attention later shifted to where Speed Darlington could be located, with a search party declared.
Adeyanju, in a post, later revealed: “We just spent the last 30mins with Speed Darlington and he narrated how he was arrested in Lagos Friday last week, moved around and eventually brought to Abuja and has been in detention since then. Petition against him was written by Burna Boy we can confirm.”
Speed Darlington may have been arrested over a video questioning Burna Boy about his connection with Sean Diddy Combs.
He said Burna Boy and Falz went to America to meet with Diddy after he was warned to avoid Diddy. He observed that Burna Boy won a Grammy award that year or a year after.
In the video, he asked Burna Boy how many rounds of s+x he had with Diddy for the award.
