Ace Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has taken to social media to aim a dig at his colleague, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ aka Brymo.

The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, in a video that made the rounds on microblogging platform X, shaded the singer turned actor in a freestyle song while rehearsing with his band, Outsiders.

In the now viral freestyle video, Burna Boy was heard warning other artistes to ensure they work very hard so that their career doesn’t fall off the cliff like that of Brymo.

“Hustle hard make you no fall off like Brymo,” he said.

Reacting to the clip shared on social media by a music buff, WeTalkSound, Brymo, who is also a writer, described the ‘Last Last’ crooner as a ” foolish boy”

Taking to his X handle, he quoted the tweet, and wrote, “Foolish boy with all these talentless lyrics.”

Prior to this development, Brymo had accused Burna Boy of song theft.

According to him, his hit songs ‘City Boys’ and ‘I Told Them’ sampled the title track of his upcoming album, ‘Macabre’.
