Ace Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is set to add another feat to his already enviable achievements, after he was added to the performer lineup for the 2024 Grammys.
This was disclosed on Monday morning via a post on the Recording Academy of the United States’s X handle, where the ‘Last Last’ crooner was announced alongside Luke Combs and Travis Scott.
Taking to the social media, the Grammy organisers wrote “Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @CBS.”

Prior to the news of Burna Boy’s performance at the iconic event, other notable singers such as Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa had earlier been announced.
Apart from signing at the award, Burna Boy was also nominated in three categories at the 66th Grammys – Best Melodic Rap Performance for ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World,’ Best Global Music Performance for ‘Alone,’ and Best African Music Performance for ‘City Boys.’
The 66th Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
