Nigeria witnessed its first presidential wedding. It is so called not because the president is the one getting married, but the wedding took place inside Aso Villa, Nigeria’s seat of power.
The two love birds are; Mohammed Turad, son of a former lawmaker, Mahmud Sha’aban, who is also an aide to minister of works and housing, Babatunde Fashola. He was joined to Hanan Buhari, president Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, who also is a London trained photographer.
The first family said because of the COVID-19 protocol against large gatherings, attendance at the wedding would be limited to only a few people. The wedding, according to a report, was only attended by 20 people.
