An avid supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, Adamu Garba, has expressed his disappointment over the level of response the president has given to the COVID-19 crisis.

Garba, who has consistently defended the president on every issue, made a surprise criticism against his response of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Despite my well known support for the president, @MBuhari, I cannot go with the fact that im grossly disapI’minted in the way he is handling this COVID-19 crisis.

“The president’s main constituency is the poor. In his tweet, N10 billion was allotted  to Lagos. N5 billion to NCDC, but nothing was made available for the common men and women who have no means of livelihood against the backdrop of stay at home.

“What is more challenging is the complete silence from the president himself, who should take the centre stage and show his commitment, physically, emotionally and mentally in solidarity with the citizens at this trying times. All we hear is rumour everywhere. Where is the President?” he queried?
