Buhari hails ace Nollywood actor, Bob-Manuel at 60 

Buhari in a congratulatory message, lauded Bob-Manuel for delving into politics and working with three administrations

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated veteran Nollywood thespain, Bob-Manuel Udokwu who turned 60 today, Tuesday, April 18. 

This was contained in a statement made available by the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina on Monday, where the president rejoiced with the actor who has featured in over 200 movies.

The outgoing Nigerian president saluted the actor’s courage for delving into politics and contesting elections in his home state, Anambra, and working with three governments as Senior Special Assistant, New Media, and Special Adviser on Entertainment, Leisure, and Tourism.

He also noted the influencing role he played in the structuring of the second-largest movie industry in the world, with a strong global presence and recognition, serving in various capacities as director, and producer.

The President went on to express optimism that as Bob-Manuel clocks 60, his experience in the creative and entertainment industry will always be relevant, especially in mentoring younger people in career choices.

Buhari further prayed for the well-being of the award-winning actor and his family and rejoiced with the entertainment industry, particularly Nollywood, where Bob-Manuel held sway for many years
