President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Na’Abba, on the death of his mother, Rabi Na’Abba.
The deceased was a sibling of the late Bashir Tofa, a political associate of the President.
In his condolence message on Tuesday, Buhari described her death as a painful experience and prayed to Allah to console the former Speaker and the Na’Abba family.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has also expressed sadness over the incident.
Gbajabiamila, in a press statement issued on Saturday and signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, said Hajiya Rabi lived a fulfilled life, full of service to humanity as could be seen from her community service.
The Speaker noted that the departed soul would be sorely missed, especially for her motherly counsel to the Na’Abba family and her community.
