Buhari certificate controversy laid to rest

At approximately 5:00 PM on January 21 2015, online news website Premium Times obtained and published the West African School Certificate (WASC) results of Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), from the University of Cambridge.

The University of Cambridge print-out showed the grades for Buhari, as well as 17 others, most notable of which was Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, brother of the former President, late Umaru Yar’Adua. The print-out was signed by the current principal of Katsina College, which was formerly called Provincial College, Katsina, where Buhari took his WASC exams in
1961.

This lays to rest the controversy surrounding the APC presidential candidate’s educational qualifications, which has dragged on the last several days.
