Nigerian singer, songwriter and author, Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, better known as Brymo has chastised Peter Okoye of the P-Square musical group over his social media response to recent remarks by Seun Kuti.
Peter had slammed the popular Afrobeats singer over what he considered a derogatory remark made about Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Seun Kuti during a recent interview on “TheMicOnPodcast”, referred to Obi as an “Opportunist” and argued that it takes the effort of dedicated citizens to save Nigeria.

He wrote: “Dude just erased his father’s history. You said only the people of Nigeria can save Nigeria. Are PO and the rest candidates not Nigerian people? Shame! Shame! Shame!!!”
Peter Okoye went to say unlike him who made a name for himself, Seun Kuti only benefitted from the legacy of his father.
“My late Father was a nobody but today everyone knows the OKOYES! Dude try removing “KUTI” from your name make I know weda anybody sabi you! Remain in that your Local SHRINE while people like us and others continue excelling Globally! YOU CANT SHAME THE SHAMELESS!” he added

“Bros .. you never delete ?..you go keep this post wey trifle your pops, just cause it reads like you are self-made and he inherited fame ?..that’s your point right ?.. this belittles yours.. this is quite self-serving, I doubt you own your successes, you belong to your sponsors,” Brymo wrote.
