Banky W, Omoni Oboli, Waje and a host of others have been part of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign joining many others to march to the Lagos State House on Monday. The marchers are protesting the kidnap of over 200 girls in Chibok, Borno State, and calling for urgent action to rescue the girls.

But while they were being addressed by the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, who told them, among other things, to go and fast, some other celebrities join in on social media. For instance, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and 2face Idibia’s wife, Annie Macaulay, kept faith on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the UK Nollywood Producers Guild (UKNPG), a London-based collection of Nigerian producers, has also lent its voice to the protest to the Nigerian government.
“Bring the kidnapped girls home safely. Please do not allow them to be sold into sex slavery,” the group said.
UKNPG added that it stands in solidarity with all the mothers and families of the kidnapped girls, as members plan to support the protest at Nigeria House.
The world over, Justin Timberlake, Forest Whitaker, among many other celebrities, have lent their voices to the ‘Bring Back Our Girls’ campaign as the search continues.
