Nigeria’s Super Eagles have qualified for 2019 African Cup of Nation, to be hosted by Cameroon, after they drew 1-1  with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Saturday.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored a good goal in the 5th minute, which was ruled out controversially by the match officials in the game played at the FNB Stadium in South Africa.

However, four minutes later, through a goal-mouth scramble, the Super Eagles opened scoring, as Sam Kalu’s crossing proved difficult for Bafana Bafana defender, who scored an own goal.

The South Africans equalized almost immediately, as a result of lack of concentration in the Nigeria’s defence.

The second half resulted in Isaac Success’ clear goal overruled by the match officials.

With the 1-1 draw, Nigeria has qualified for the AFCON  competition to be hosted by Cammeroon next year with one match to play against Seychelles, who were trashed 8-1 by Libya today.
