Again, security operatives have clashed with protesting members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), better known as Shi’ites, in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to Deji Adeyanju, the coordinator of Concerned Nigeria, a civil society group, a member of the Islamic group was shot dead while several others were injured.
Recall that at least 16 people were feared dead yesterday, as soldiers clashed with protesting Shiites members.
A similar clash between soldiers and Shiite members led to the killing of two persons at Zuba on Saturday.
