At least 30 school girls have been abducted from the Federal Government Girls College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State, according to News Direct.
The newspaper also reported that three teachers were among the abductees.
This is the third known attack on a school in the country in the last three weeks.
The attackers were said to have arrived the school unchallenged on motorbikes and took their victims away.
A security guard was reportedly shot dead during the attack which has become routine in Nigeria.
State governors always refuse to pay ransom to the jihadists so as not to encourage the act, but unable to protect helpless citizens.
