Borno State Government has also confirmed the death of the Finance Commissioner via a statement on Monday.
The Borno State Finance Commissioner, Ahmad Ali Ahmad is dead.
Ahmad was found dead in his bedroom on Monday morning.
Unconfirmed report indicated that the Commissioner’s wife was said to be outside the state, while her husband who could not wake up in the morning, compelled family members to forcefully opened his door, only to discovered that his lifeless body was lying on his bed.
The Borno State Government has also confirmed the death of the Finance Commissioner via a statement on Monday.

The statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar, confirmed that Ahmad died on Monday morning.
According to the statement, “His burial is scheduled for 5 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his family residence on Damboa Road, behind the Indimi residence in Maiduguri.”
