A former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic (PDP), Bode George, is currently in a closed-door meeting with leader of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Tajudeen Olusi.

The GAC is an influential group comprising critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State. It determines who gets what in Lagos politics.

Members of the GAC include the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu, the Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamza, Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Otunba Henry Ajomale, Otunba Bashiru Alebiosu, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Omooba Murphy Adetoro, Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Senator Anthony Adefuye, Alhaji S.A Seriki and Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Bashorun.

Others are Prince Rabiu Oluwa, Chief M. A Taiwo, Alhaji Mutiu Are, Dr Yomi Finnih, Omooba Muyiwa Sosanya, Prof. Tunde Samuel, former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, incumbent Speaker of the Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, Mr Wale Edun, former Deputy Governor of the state, Idiat Adebule, and Chief Kemi Nelson.

Bode George and the leader of the GAC, Tajudeen Olusi, are currently having a meeting at George’s Ikoyi residence behind closed doors.

It is not clear why Bode George, a vocal critic of President-Elect, Bola Tinubu, is meeting with the influential GAC which is controlled by the ex-Lagos Governor.
