The Super Eagles of Nigeria were forced to a 1-1 draw in their international friendly match against Brazil on Sunday.

The Super Eagles took the lead against the run of play with Glasgow Rangers striker Aribo quick to react in the Brazil box lashing home in the 35th minute as Marquinhos dawdled.

Brazilian forward, Casemiro, responded with an equaliser barely three minutes after half time.

The match, which kicked off at 1:00pm Nigerian time, took place at the National Stadium in Singapore.

The draw saw Brazil failing to win a match in their past four outings with the major concern from the Seleção perspective being Neymar limping off in the 12th minute of the action.

While reacting to Super Eaagles’ performance on the match, Nigeria’s former goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph, commended the Nigerian team.

He said that the performance of Nigeria was very impressive, stressing that the team was gradually taking the shape of the Super Eagles 1994 squad.

He pointed out that players like Osime, Chukwuezi and many showed prospect.

On the goalkeeping department, Dosu praised the first choice in the game, Uzoho, who later got injured, and Maduka that succeeded him.

The Olympic gold winning keeper said that Uzoho had all the qualities of a good goalkeeper.

According to him, Uzoho is tall, communicates with his defender, flexible and has good timing.
