The mammoth crowd that converged on the Ox-Bow Lake pavilion commissioned by the National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Uche Secondus, was a testimony of appreciation of Bayelsans towards the infrastructure development in education, healthcare sector, road construction that were recorded by the government of Governor Seriake Dickson for the past six years in Bayelsa State.

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Brass Local Government Area, Victor Issaiah stated this to journalists.

According to him, the government will remain indelible to Bayelsans for the foundation and legacies that are people-oriented  and verifiable projects.

He stressed that the Ox-Bow Lake Pavilion was among projects specifically meant for promotion of tourism because it forms a centre for recreation, relaxation, picnics for fun lovers and those who want to unwind after a busy hustle and bustle day. Besides, it will create employment for those that will be selling and buying at the centre.

The Ox-Bow-Lake was constructed to promote and project an age-long cultural fiesta, boat regatta which the state has a comparative advantage.
