The apology tendered by Boma for sleeping with a married woman, Tega, on a TV set, has not soothed the anger of Nigerians. Despite apologizing and taking responsibility, Nigerians continue to heap insult on him and spelling out the consequences of his action.
One commenter said family, friends and colleagues would no longer trust Boma with their wives around him.
Boma had apologized on his Twitter page that he made a mistake sleeping with Tega, a married woman. They were both housemates in the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye edition but evicted after fans of the show voted less for them, perhaps because of their sexual escapades.
Boma said: “You have to make mistakes to find out who you aren’t. You take the action, and the insight follows: You don’t think your way into becoming yourself. I take full responsibility for my actions and I am sorry, it only gets better from here.”
But the apology elicited more knocks for the 34-year-old actor.
