Veteran Nollywood actress, Sola Sobowale, recently disclosed to her fans on social media that she had a major breakthrough in her career as she announced her first Bollywood role.
The screen goddess in a post on her Instagram page said she would be going to India to join record-breaking director, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja for her latest project.
The elated “King of Boys” lead actress also revealed she would be playing a very dynamic role in the new movie.
She wrote, “I am so excited to announce that I will be working with record breaking Director/Exec Producer @HamishaDaryaniAhuja on her upcoming project! And….get this…we will be going to India to film! I will be playing a very dynamic role in this project and cannot wait for you to watch it”.

Bollywood is the Indian Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai. The industry is part of the larger Indian cinema—the world’s largest by number of feature films produced, along with the Cinema of South India and other Indian film industries.
The ace actress’s invitation to Bollywood will no doubt be seen as a testimony to the growing reputation of the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood.
Sola Sobowale shot into the limelight after featuring in one of Nigeria’s popular television drama series “Super Story: Oh Father, Oh Daughter”.
She is married to Oludotun Sobowale, the former corporate executive director of Eko Hospital and Healthcare, Lagos and they have four children.
