A former Judge at the International Court of Justice, Hague, Netherlands, Bola Ajibola, is dead.
Price Ajibola was also a former Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of Nigeria.
The Abeokuta born jurist, who was a Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE), died on Saturday midnight after a long-time illness at the age of 89.

The eldest child of the late jurist, Segun Ajibola, SAN, disclosed this in a statement, on Sunday in Abeokuta.
He wrote: “With very deep heart and gratitude to Almighty Allah.
“Our Dad, Prince Bola Ajibola, departed this world over midnight. May Almighty Allah bless him with Aljanah Firdaus.”
His death was also confirmed by the founder and leader of the Academy of Islamic Propagation (ACADIP), Alhaji Yusuf Adepoju, who prayed for the repose of his soul.
“Inna lilahi wa hina illahi rajihunna. The Chairman, Board of Trustees for Academy of Islamic Propagation, ACADIP, Prince Abdul-Jabar Bola Ajibola is dead. May Allah forgive him of all his shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus. Aamiyn.” Adepoju wrote.
