The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has banned Boeing 737 Max 8 and 9 from her airspace.
Nigeria joins other global nations to do so until investigation into the March 10 crash involving the Ethiopian Airline is ascertained.
The NCAA has therefore advised that countries still having the plane in their fleet should not fly into Nigeria or out of Nigeria using Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9 until the determination of the actual cause of the crash in Ethiopia.
Nigeria is also interested in the outcome of the response of the manufacturer of the plane which is Messrs Boeing.
Countries as United States, United Kingdom, China, among others had earlier done so.
More than 150 passengers on board Boeing 737 Max 8 perished on Sunday on board of the Ethipian airline.
