Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria summons emergency meeting to discuss Onnoghen/Usoro’s arraignment

Consequent upon recent unpalatable developments engulfing the judiciary and legal profession in Nigeria, the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN), will on Saturday (tomorrow) hold an emergency meeting to deliberate on the issues.

The emergency meeting is particularly aimed at brainstorming on the planned arraignment of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Samuel Onnoghen, at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Abuja, and the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Paul Usoro (SAN), at the Federal High Court (FHC) sitting at Ikoyi, Lagos State, Nigeria.

In a statement dated January 15, 2019, and signed by its Secretary, Seyi Sowemimo (SAN), BOSAN revealed that the meeting will hold at the Conference Hall of Nigeria Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos at 11 a.m. prompt.

NOTICE is hereby given that an Emergency Meeting of Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) will take place this Saturday 19th of January 2019 at the Conference Hall of Nigeria Law School, Victoria Island , Lagos at 11am prompt.

AGENDA

1. The proposed arraignment of the Chief Justice of Nigeria ( CJN) before the Code of Conduct Tribunal 

2. The arraignment of President of Nigeria Bar Association before the Federal High Court 

3. Any other matter
