He was jailed in April by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos for Naira abuse.

The judge, who sentenced the cross-dresser without an option of fine, said his sentence would serve as a lesson for others abusing the Naira.

His jail term began on 24 March, coinciding with the day of his arrest.

Speaking about his experience in the prison in an interview with GoldMyneTV, Bobrisky urged Nigerians to follow the rules and abide by the law.

He also made it known that they can end up in prison without committing grievous crimes.

He further thanked  his friends and family for standing by him during his ordeal.

”Don’t spray money, unless you’ll be a landlord inside Kirikiri.”

“It’s not just about killing or any criminal activity, something light like this can take you there.

“I’m only focusing on my friends who were there for me, and I’m grateful. I’m not thinking about any other person,” Bobrisky advised.
