Cross-dresser Bobrisky (real name Idris Okuneye) has arrived the Lagos Federal High Court for arraignment over allegations of money laundering and naira abuse levelled against him the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The graft buster arrested and detained him from his Lagos home on Wednesday and has charged him to court on a six-count charge on money laundering and abuse of the naira.
Bobrisky, 31, is scheduled to take his plea before vacation Judge Abimbola Awogboro.
He was invited by the EFCC following a video report of him spraying and flaunting wads of new naira notes at the premiere of Ajakaju produced by Eniola Ajao, a Nollywood actress and producer, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March 24.
The controversial cross-dresser has remained in EFCC detention since Wednesday. He failed to meet the administrative bail conditions offered him on Thursday.
