Popular Afrobeats singer, Daniel Benson, better known as BNXN, has retraced his steps by tendering an apology to ace singer and DMW records boss, David Adeleke aka Davido, following a reprimand by his colleague, Dremo.
Prior to this, BNXN had thrown a shade at Davido while bantering with one of the ‘Electricity’ crooner’s fans on social media on Thursday.
The netizen had questioned BNXN’s talent and he responded saying he had no right to speak on anything music related, apparently suggesting he has a bad taste for music for associating with Davido.
Seemingly angered by the comment, Davido deleted a tweet where he teased a collaboration with BNXN.
However, after he deleted the song, BNXN took to his social media page to vow that he would still release the collaborative effort even without his approval.
He went on to add that he wrote “everything”, while also insisting that fans blew his tweet “out of proportion.”
But on Thursday night, the singer made a U-turn and tendered an apology to Davido after DMW signee, Dremo scolded him for “disrespecting” his boss.
Taking to his X handle, Dremo tweeted, “@BNXN that tweet was mad disrespectful bro, you can’t be tweeting like you don’t know fans will blow shit out of proportion cos you clearly knew what you…”
Reacting to the post, BNXN quoted his tweet and replied: “No yawa. I’m sorry.”
