Popular Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Daniel Benson known professionally as BNXN and formerly called Buju has clarified why he did not touch British rapper, Stephanie Victoria Allen aka Stefflon Don in their dance video.

The Afro-fusion artiste was recently criticised for having no physical contact with the female singer after a video of the duo dancing so close to each other on set during a shoot made the rounds.

Reacting to the backlash on his Snapchat page, BNXN said he did not touch her because he did not have her permission to do so.

The ‘Gwagwalada’ crooner, however, wondered why he had to explain the reason a man cannot touch a woman when she has not given him permission in 2023.
