Former U.S. President and member of Democratic Party, Bill Clinton, who has been in a hospital in California since Tuesday, due to a blood infection, is set to be released today
This was made known on Sunday night by his spokesman, Angel Urena while briefing Americans on the condition of the former US President.
According to the media aide, Clinton has recuperated well and is expected to go home tomorrow; he is also grateful for the love shown to him during his trying moments.
“President Clinton has continued to make excellent progress over the last 24 hours.
“He will remain tonight at UC Irvine Medical Centre to continue to receive IV antibiotics before an expected discharge tomorrow(today).
“He is in great spirits and has been spending time with family, catching up with friends, and watching college football.
“He is deeply grateful for the excellent care he continues to receive and thankful to the many well-wishers who have sent kind words to him and his family.
“He’s looking forward to getting home soon”. Urena said.
