The Big Brother Naija 7 ‘Level Up’ edition organisers have explained how they arrived at the decision to ask Amaka to leave the reality show on Monday Night.

Her eviction came as a surprise to the housemates and fans, as Biggie added a new twist to nomination in the house.

The housemates had prepared for the normal Monday nomination after Dotun won the Head of House (HoH) challenge and nominated Daniella as his Deputy HoH.

However, Biggie pulled a fast one on the housemates, as they were asked to nominate two fellow contestants for immediate eviction.

In what will be considered the biggest twist in the history of BBNaija reality show, Amaka was evicted from the season seven reality show.

During the eviction process, Amaka and Doyin were nominated by their fellow housemates six times, meaning both of them should have been evicted on the night.

However, Amaka was the only housemate who got evicted from the show.

The organisers’ decision to leave Doyin on the show despite gathering the same amount of votes as Amaka later became contentious and deemed controversial, as it went tongues wagging on social media.

With fans not too pleased with this, organisers have now revealed why only Amaka was evicted.

They took to Twitter and explained that since Doyin was nominated by Deji, the nomination did not count because he is a fake housemate.

This means that votes by the 3 remaining fake housemates were not counted against any of the housemates.

The organizers wrote, “Deji’s Nominations do not count as he is a Fake Housemate.#BBNaija”
