Biafra: Sit-at-home order was successful – Group

MASSOB, IPOB demonstrators led by Uchenna Madu

The “SIT-AT-HOME” order recently by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South East/South South geo-political zone has been described as a mock referendum and huge success that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.

Letter by the Lion Zion of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Igweocha, and sent to IPOB leader, Onyendu Mazi Nnemdi Kanu, and signed by the Zonal Coordinator, Mazi Emeka Mbamara; Zonal Deputy Coordinator, Senibo Abi Sampson Karibo; Eminent Zonal Secretary, Tehteh Enem Isaiah Innocent, and General Oofficer, Community, Mazi Obioma Ukpabi, respectively, and made available to the media in Umuahia, states: “We, the Lion Zion of the Indigenous People of Biafra Igweocha, under your deserving leadership gratefully extend our heartfelt congratulation to you on the just concluded “SIT-AT-HOME” order held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.”

It further stated that the exercise which was basically in honour of the fallen heroes and heroines and by extension a mock referendum, recorded a huge and remarkable success that cannot be forgotten in a hurry.

The letter further stated, “We the IPOB of Lion Zion Igweocha find it useful and worthy to appreciate you for resonating our voice and hope, your sterling leadership qualities have none to compare. You are indeed a genius, legend and an icon.”
