Former Liverpool boss, Rafa Benitez has tipped his former Club, to earn a Champions League place at the end of the season despite their sluggish start to the season.
The Spaniard also thinks the Reds will finish top four in the Premier League because of the quality they possess.
Liverpool began the season very poorly and are currently ninth in the table, eight points behind fourth-placed Newcastle United.
The Merseyside team shockingly fell 2-1 at home to Leeds United in their Premier League game on Sunday, ending their long unbeaten record at Anfield.

However, Benitez still sees Liverpool finishing top four, arguing that Jurgen Klopp’s side are in 9th position because they have been unlucky with injuries.
“I am not as pessimistic about their prospects as everyone else. This is not a normal season,” he told The Times.
“They have had injuries, the World Cup is a distraction, but they remain a very strong team.
“I am sure they will recover and get into the top four in the Premier League, and we know from their performances in recent seasons how they can go far in European competitions.”
