BBTitans, which will be hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Lawrence Maleka, will be aired for 12 weeks and the winner is expected to go home with $100,000

The first season of one of Big Brother’s franchises, tagged “Big Brother Titans” (BBTitans) is set to hit the TV screens of the lovers of the reality show on Sunday, January 15.
BBTitans is a fusion of the South African and Nigerian versions of the Big Brother shows, where contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a cash prize by avoiding being evicted from the house by the viewers.
The BBTitans’ winner will walk away with a life-changing grand prize of $100,000 and the show will premiere on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.
The debut season which is set to commence in 5 days will be hosted by lawyer and Big Brother Naija’s long-time host, Ebuka-Obi Uchendu, while his co-host will be thespian and South Africa’s BBMzanzi host, Lawrence Maleka.

The duo will anchor the show for three months, while the fans will be treated to a plethora of housemates from different parts of Nigeria and South Africa for the first time.
Ijeoma Josephine Otabor, who is better known as Phyna emerged winner of the BBNaija “Level Up” Season 7 edition in 2022, becoming the second-ever female winner of the show after Mercy who won two years earlier.
Similarly, 27-year-old Michelle Mavundla, a.k.a Mphowabadimo also emerged as the Season 3 winner in the 2022 edition of the South African version, titled Big Brother Mzansi, making history as the first woman to win the TV reality show.
