Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, wife of popular media personality and Big Brother Titans (BBTitans) anchor, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has retracted her statement concerning her husband’s health.

The maiden edition of BBTitans kicked off on Sunday with the hosts, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Lawrence Maleka ushering 20 housemates from Nigeria and South Africa into the Big Brother house.

After the show on Sunday, January 15, Cynthia took to her Twitter handle to say her husband who co-anchored the TV reality show premiere was extremely sick while on stage.

According to the mother of two, Ebuka showed his professional dexterity during the show’s first day despite being under the weather, while on the stage.

“Who would have thought Ebuka is extremely sick right now… professional to the core…,” she wrote on her Twitter page.

However, Cynthia has now had a second thought about her choice of words while relaying her hubby’s health condition to his fans and the general public.

She returned to social media to recount her earlier statement, saying though the former BBNaija anchor was sick while hosting the show, he was not critically ill.

Arguing that words are powerful in a follow-up tweet, she wrote: “Maybe not extremely …. Words have power biko…”
