Mercy Eke believes allegation against her is diversionary tactics

BBNaija season 5 winner, Mercy Eke, has denied the allegation of being pimped for men by Cubana Chief Priest.
The Celebrity Barman, Cubana Chief Priest (CCB) had earlier accused Maria, another ex-BBNaija housemate of season 6 of the reality show of snatching his sister’s husband, identified as Kevin.
Maria, denied the accusation, adding that she was never pimped by CCB to anyone.
While the back and forth was generating a lot of ripples on social media, BBNaija season 5 housemate, Mercy Eke, was dragged in, as she was also accused of being pimped for the same man and other men.
Only this time around, CCB, Maria’s accuser was the one-fingered as the person who pimps Mercy Eke for his brother-in-law and other numerous men.
In an interview with popular blogger SDK, Mercy Eke was allowed to clear the air, when the host of the show asked:
“Mercy there is viral news concerning Maria, your fellow star from big brother season 6. A blog alleges that you are also dating the Kevin that Maria was accused of stealing from the sister of Cubana Chief Priest. What is your involvement in this snatching series??”
Mercy Eke, who believed her name was introduced as a diversionary tactic, denied the allegation and shed light on the issue saying:
” I’m as confused as everyone else and I am telling you now that I, Mercy Chinenyenwa Eke, have never met this Kevin in my life.
” I don’t even know what he looks like… Someone has probably added my name in this story to divert attention from the main story but it won’t work”
The blogger then proceeded to tell her that the rumor mills have it that CCB, was the one who pimped her for the man, who happens to be his brother-in-law.
“There are allegations also that Cubana Chief Priest pimped you to this Kelvin and probably others. Are you denying this?” he asked
The BBNaija season 5 winner countered him saying:
“What! … Cubana chief priest has never introduced or pimped me to any Man. These are all lies.”
The latest rumor of Mercy Eke’s affair with CCB’s bro brother-in-law and other men, and the viral story that CCB was the one who pimped her for his in-law has brought a new twist to the story.
Some BBNaija fans share Mercy Eke’s sentiment that the accusation against her is a ploy to cover up for Maria.
Others who see things differently, however, think that Maria’s accuser, CCB, played a dangerous game, which later boomeranged and blew in his face.
