Doyin argued that abortion can’t be termed murder if the pregnancy was terminated before the embryo turns to fetus

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star and medical radiographer, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, simply known as Doyin, recently joined the abortion debate, after making her stance on the subject known.
Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, ‘Doyin’s Corner’, the reality star stated that she is pro-choice because she believes a pregnant woman should have the freedom to choose abortion if she does not want to have a baby.
According to Doyin, there are certain situations that could leave a woman with no other choice than to terminate her pregnancy.

These circumstances in her words include conception resulting from rape or an ectopic pregnancy.
Explaining why she chose to support abortion during the chat, she said: “I will say I’m pro-choice first of all. Because there are certain circumstances or situations that people find themselves in, it’s not easy to keep the baby.
“Sometimes, it’s not even based on the fact that it’s not easy to keep the baby, it is even health complications like ectopic pregnancy for example sometimes they had to take it out. Or situations where someone gets raped for example and they had to take it out. So, in those kinds of situations, it’s very different.”
