Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper and winner of Big Brother Naija 2 ‘See Gobbe’ edition, Michael Ejeba better known as Efe has refuted the rumours that he squandered the money he won on the show.
Efe won the second edition of Nigeria’s biggest reality show, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, beating ace Nollywood actress, Bisola Aiyeola, and winning N25 million grand prize in the process.
However, shortly after, rumours making the rounds on several social media platforms suggested the rapper had squandered the prize money. He was also tagged as the least successful of the winners in the history of the show.

Speaking during a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Efe denied innuendoes that he wasted the money he won, revealing what he did with the money.
According to the 29-year-old singer, he did not squander the money as suspected, but invested it in some ventures; he, however, remained tight-lipped as to what he invested the money on.
He said, “I invested the whole money. I did not even buy one shirt with that money”
Efe also cleared the air about reports that he is at loggerhead with Multichoice, the organisers of the show.
He said, “There’s no truth to that, we’re actually in good terms. Everything is cordial, we are cool, we are fine.
“I don’t know where all that gossip came from, that’s what they say comes with the price of fame. I’ve always been a straight and honest person.”
