Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 housemate, Handi has disclosed that her twin sister and partner on the show, Wanni had a crush on ace Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke aka Davido.
She made this known on Wednesday during a conversation with Shaun and Wanni, where she also said she wasn’t in support of a relationship between the duo.
Handi further explained that she discouraged her sister from dating the ‘Electricity’ crooner, because she wouldn’t be respected in the relationship.
Wanni had initially brought up the topic, saying she had a “situation” with the artiste but didn’t call him by his name.
She simply referred to him by a popular line from his hit song ‘Champion Sound’.
Discussing what transpired, Wanni said, “Let’s not call names but I told him [Shaun] about the situation with [sings the line from ‘Champion Sound’] ‘Take me away’. And he was like, that he would have been disappointed if I did something with him.”
Handi jumped in saying: “hmmm me too o!
Shaun then responded: “I don’t think it differently.”
Handi went on to add: “We fought seriously on our tour. It’s a different thing if you were in a relationship but for what? Because you have a crush on the person you just want to jump in. And the guy is bipolar as f*ck. I told her he won’t respect her.”
