Bayelsa United were trumped 4-0 by CS Sfaxien in CAF Confederation Cup played yesterday.
With this result, they have now crashed out of the competition following the 4-0 defeat by the Tunisian club in the return leg of the tie.
Bayelsa United had won the first leg of the clash 1-0 a week ago in Yenegoa, but the 4-0 loss now means they exit the competition 4-1 on aggregate.
According to Completesport, Bayelsa United put up a fight in the second half, after an abysmal first half showing, to prevent CS Sfaxien from adding a fifth goal.
Meanwhile, Enyimba, the other Nigerian team in the competition, will host Diambars of Senegal in Aba today, after winning the first leg in Dakar 1-0.
