.Inaugurates new cabinet

The paramount ruler of Sabatoru community in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has suspended his chiefs, youth executive, Community Development Committee chairman and women wing.
The measure, sorces said was to avoid plot by the affected to derobe him.
King Amakiri Ekine has also appointed and inaugurated their successors immediately to supervise the affairs of the community.
Among the suspended are Chief Kuradoite Sagbe, Amadabo of Obiama, Chief Oweikigha Collins, Chairman Council of Chiefs, all the Youth executive, the CDC chiarman and women wing.
The newly inaugurated committee members are: Chief Ifiemi Esele, now the Amadabo of Obiama, Mr Samuel Inegite to act as the new CDC chairman, while Walayo Ezekiel is the new woman leader.
Others are Mr. Samson Danfo, youth President; Mr Otari Famous, Vice President; Mr Newton Bonnie, Secretary; Kumosuonyo Adengi, Public Relations Officer; Mr Young Glassglow, Financial Secretary; and Joshua Temple, Treasurer.
The king, however, lamented that for no reason, the chiefs, and the youth body wanted to suspend him, describing their bid as a failed coup.
His words: “We are doing our best for our dear oil bearing community to survive and come to limelight but some mischievous people are taken us backward.
“The reason I called for general meeting today is for them to explain to our people what I have done wrong to be suspended, but they never turned up to honour a third class king like myself.
“So today I have inaugurated new cabinet to manage the affairs of the Sabaturu community in Nembe kingdom. So you people must not follow the part of those suspended”
He urged the new inaugurated committees to work for the development of the oil-rich community to progress.
King Ekine, the former Nembe Local Goverment Secretary, said that a new Sabatoru had been made as those that did not want development had been shown the way out.
