Basketmouth says he tested his acting skills with blockbuster movie, ‘Brotherhood’

Basketmouth also said 2024 will be a year to remember because of the exciting projects he has lined up

Ace Nigerian stand-up comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has revealed why he took up a role in the blockbuster movie ‘Brotherhood’.

According to the 45-year-old comic actor, he decided to take up the challenge to test his acting skills.

Speaking in his latest interview online,  Basketmouth said even though he is not fully into acting, he will consider returning to the screens if he gets another good script.

He further said 2024 will be a year to remember because of the exciting projects he has lined up for release.

“I featured in Brotherhood because I was curious to see if I could pull it off, and I want to believe I did. I just might take a shot at acting again when I get a good script with a daring character.

“I have some exciting projects coming up. My team and I have been working tirelessly for a couple of years now preparing for 2024.

“I have been a comedian for 25 years now, and I believe it is time to explore new opportunities in movies and music,” Basketmouth said.
