Barcelona recovered from conceding an early goal to beat a hard fighting Valencia 3-1 at camp Nou.
The home side started on a wrong footing when Jose Gaya scored in the 5th minute to put the visitors ahead.
Valencia did not enjoy the lead for long before Ansu Fati equalised after an assist from Memphis Depay on the 13th minute.
Jose Gaya turned from hero to villain after tripping Fati in the box to give Barcelona a penalty, which Depay gladly scored in the 43rd minute to put the home side ahead 2-1.
The game waited till the 87th minute to record the first goal of the second half and it was Barcelona who scored again through Philip Coutinho after a pass from Sergino Dest.
Barcelona held on to finish the game 3-1 to move within 2 points of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid who had their games postponed.
