Popular Nigerian movie maker and founder of the Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, has argued that many brides tie the knot without preparing for life after the wedding ceremony.
According to the Gospel filmmaker, many ladies who get married nowadays “prepare more for the wedding day, than for the marriage life.”
Bamiloye made this known via a recent lengthy social media post he shared on his Instagram page, where he claimed some women intending to become wives cannot cook and only really on buying food from eateries.
He wrote: “They [some ladies] are too hasty and not ready to sit down and learn the principles of marital life.
“Many ladies are not qualified to be wives even at 28.
“They can’t cook properly. They are used to fast food at the eateries and ice cream and indomie and spaghetti plus boiled eggs and Titus, and they spend six months studying the wedding gowns and the accessories for the bridal trails. And they want to marry.”

The clergyman went on to say his sister is 26-year-old, but she is not qualified to be addressed as a “wife material” yet.
He further said even though she is a beautiful woman, she is not spiritually strong, can’t cook and has limited knowledge of the word of God.
The 63-year-old cleric also wondered how such a lady would “withstand the spiritual challenges that come against every home.”
Bamiloye also said his sister lacks the basic knowledge of how to manage a home and is too materialistic.
He concluded by recalling that one of his sister’s friends who got married had to buy a book on how to cook when she was going to her husband’s house.
