Media aide to former military President Ibrahim Babangida’s, Kassim Afegbua, on Wednesday reported at the police headquarters in Abuja .
Two days ago Kassim was declared wanted by the police over a statement he issued on Sunday on behalf of Babangida which suggested that President Muhammadu Buhari should not seek another term in office.
Babangida had issued another statement contradicting Afegbua’s earlier statement.
The police declared him wanted subsequently.
“At the Police Headquarters to present myself as a responsible Nigerian who was never on the run,” Afegbua, the former Edo State Commissioner for Information wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
