After spending two months in police custody, Yoruba actor, Omiyinka Olanrewaju, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has finally been arraigned in court over charges of rape of a minor.
He was arraigned at the magistrate court at Yaba, Lagos State.
Baba Ijesha was arraigned in the court of P.E Nwaka, a Magistrate at the Yaba magistrate court.
The charges against Baba Ijesha include; indecent treatment of a child, defilement of a Child, sexual assault by penetration, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault.
The police say the offences contravene sections 135, 137, 261, 2020 262 and 263 of the Lagos State Criminal Law 2015.
