Afrobeats star, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, has said despite her fame and wealth, she still lives with her family.
The ‘Love Don’t Cost A Dime’ crooner made this known recently during an interview with Coco Jones for Rolling Stone’s Musicians on Musicians issue.
According to the talented artiste, her status didn’t stop her from allowing friends and family to meddle in her affairs.
Speaking during the chat, Ayra Starr said, “When I go back home [Nigeria], I still live with my family. My brothers are making noise playing video games. I still involve my friends in my life. We have a group chat where I solicit their opinions on what I wear.
“I thank God for my friends and family. Although, sometimes, it gets overwhelming and I have to disappear.”

Also addressing why she is still single, the 22-year-old singer said she sets very high standards for dating, adding that it will be difficult for any man to meet them.
Ayra Starr went on to say she is grateful that she didn’t start dating before hitting stardom.
“I’m so happy I wasn’t really dating before I started music. I didn’t really know what I was missing. So now that I waited this long to date people, I have very high standards. If it’s gonna be hard to meet it, it’s gonna be bye-bye. But also, I don’t have time for myself, talk less of a boy,” she said.
